It’s Sunday ! It’s Update Time ! Let’s kick this corn dog stand !
As fun as it has been cramming in a whole bunch of sprites into six days, it’s left me a little bit behind in terms of my other experimental projects - so I think I’ll be taking it a little easier this week so I can give them the attention they deserve.
Still, I’ll be making sure you guys still get your fill of awesomely miniaturised blocky goodness - keep on the look out for new tiny versions of Marceline (Adventure Time), Bumble (Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer), The Lutece Twins (Bioshock Infinite), Hiccup (How To Train Your Dragon), Ganondorf (Legend Of Zelda), The Batter (OFF), Zer0 (Borderlands 2), something Steampunkish and (if I’m lucky) a special pixel portrait of Smaug (The Hobbit) based on outstanding requests sent in by you guys !
And I’ll throw in a few choices of my own, possibly including sprites based on the new USS Enterprise (Star Trek Reboot), Deathstroke (DC Comics) and an updated movie version of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor !
If the week goes really well, expect to see a brand new crochet plush to hit the store (I hope you have a few energy tanks spare!) and maybe even a new sticker set or two.

A Sontaran Soldier, a single-minded, tactically proficient and combat ready soldier of the Sontaran battle fleet and frequently encountered alien in the “Doctor Who” universe, now turned into a 16 x 21 pixel resolution.
In Latvia, Potato Man is worship as national hero. Politburo give much reward. But not really potato man, just space imposter. Sent to gulag. Such is life.

An Adipose, totally innocent blob of sentient fat tissue and oddly cute denizen of the “Doctor Who” universe, now turned into a 15 x 14 pixel sprite.
It’s all fun and games … until you realise that it used to be a part of someone’s butt.
A Cyberman, an emotionless husk feared throughout the “Doctor Who” galaxy for their limitless adaptability and penchant for unwillingly transforming other humans , now rendered in an utterly harmless 16 x 26 pixel resolution.
They’ve evolved so much over the years - but they still insist on keeping those old television antenna on their heads. They must really like basic cable …
A Whisperman, mysteriously palefaced aliens and possible minions of Dr Simeon who will feature in the upcoming season finale “The Name Of The Doctor”, now turned into a 16 x 30 pixel resolution sprite.
Be on the lookout for even more Doctor Who-inspired sprite goodness as the day goes on !
