Adam Jensen, the gruff’n’tough Sarif Industries security officer from rather excellent open world cyberpunk thriller Deus Ex : Human Revolution, now given a certifiably improved pixel update from last time.

He may not have asked for this update, but I’m fairly sure he won’t mind.

The Kestrel, old workhorse of the Federation Spacefleet and the Rebel flagship-fighting, pirate-hunting and space spider-exploding main ship from acclaimed indie title "FTL : Faster Than Light", now given it’s own heavily derezzed 44 x 28 pixel demake.

I’ve also taken some time to work on my presentation - whaddya think ? Too fancy ?

A little while ago I was asked by a DOTA 2 Twitch livestreamer / rather nice chap named “Pingeee” to create a set of four little exclusive “Emote” icons for subscribers to his channel - and since it was finished I thought it might be a nice idea to show them off here on the blog too !
Each one is designed to fit inside a tiny 28 x 28 pixel square - and even though i had to squish down a lot of detail, I think they still turned out pretty swell in the end. Heck, I might even have to do a few more for myself …

I’ve been quiet for a little while, and i thought I’d show why - I was recently tasked with designing some illustrations for a HR trade magazine article (no naming names just yet), and so I unfortunately was a “bit” sidetracked - to say the least.

Still, I thought some of you might be interested to see what became of it all - not everything made it into the final print 100% intact, but since this is my very first publication job I’m feeling pretty proud.

And yes, I even gave the IT crowd an updated little appearance too :)

Hope you all like it !

Here is a small but super eager office-working robot to brighten up your afternoon !

I originally made him up as part of a commission piece, but he was rejected in favour of another design - thought he deserved a new home on the blog instead.

Apparently fonts can only be made in black or white, so the grey highlights are out of the question for the moment.

There are ways to get the same sort of shading, but I can’t decide which one works best - feel free to chip in an opinion !

I’ve been super super slammed recently (which is lame), but luckily my dear old sister has been working her computer magic on making that font useable.

It has to be tweaked still to make it work, but It’s almost there !

Believe it or not, I’m still alive ! And whilst I’m prepping a few pieces for their blog debuts at long last, here is a little robot man doodle thing. Let’s call him Humphrey.

Taking a small cue from the fantastic work of mattfrith, I thought I’d turn my hand to a few cars whilst I had a minute or two spare.

No idea what they’ll be for, but I’m sure I’ll think of something …

A very tiny Pixel Pokèball, blown up by a magnification of ten so you can still see it.

I’ve been meaning to make something to commenorate the new Pokèmon X and Y games, so consider this the starting point !

It’s a bit different from my normal stuff, but I hope you guys like it nonetheless.
